10 grand hell no. Get a TYPE R swap in a CX for less and run the same times or faster if fixed up. And will handle better.

 

personally I would never buy another persons project, you will have more fun and get more out of it if you build your own car. And who knows if that car was built right or just half assed

 

I have been looking at a stock 95 CX and it's 3500. I think all the mods are not really worth that much, unless it's a simple and elegant (?) mod.. like B18C5...

 

the cars condition looks pretty crappy. i would only get for wat he is running under the hood. and still it looks all shitty. like he didnt take car of the car........

I've always found that it is better to start with a virgin.

 

Always buy new, or buy some old lady's car. Never buy a car that has been raced, dropped, wrecked or anything of the sort. I bought my car with the windows already tinted and I about went crazy until the **** came off. If it's yours from the begining, it will always make you happier. BTW, h22 civics are crap in general, if honda never intended it, there's a reason.

if you look at the offset front pick it looks like he was running slicks too so it isn't going to run the times you posted on the street. with the steelies on their you are going to get a lot of wheel hop and traction problems resulting in a slower car and even broken axles/driveline components.

 

anyone who thinks del sol seats are racing seats shouldn't be taken seriously. I know the del sol seats have some side support, but they are nothing near 'racing seats'

 

I dont know about that "if honda never intended it" comment? That makes no sense whatsoever. Did honda intend for anybody put a b18c5 in there civic? Probably not, but damn that would be one nice car. Just my opinion. No flame intended.

yeah...like everyone else said, build your won ****, i have been lucky and bought TWO nice swaps(92Civic LS Four door and 90 w/B16a)every time i got in those cars i felt like i was cheating...do it your self

 

the car has been beat and the motor is drity so you know he dont keep it in mint condtion 7K sounds ok for that car
