Default Are integra's known to be looked after by the cops

This the question. I own a 98 gsr with a loud custom exhast. I was going through by sub at about 28mph. At 28mph the car sounds like 50mph. So I went to the local car wash came back 30mins later and there was three cop cars waiting for me. The neibors called them. The cop was going to write me a reckless driving ticket. Then the cop asked me to turn around and do my normal 28mph and the one neigbor said he is doing around forty and the cop lasered me at 29mph. The cop gave me no ticket but a huge warning because this would have been my first time getting stopped. Now I was pulling out of the mc donalds and the cop let me in to traffic and followed me all the way home untill I parked it and he drove away. What does this mean its not like I own a 800 horsepower camaro. But I own a gsr with 205. I dont get it can someone tell me anything.

You have a loud exhaust, what's not to get. People complained about you so cops came to see what's up.

Your neighbor is gay. I would take the exhaust off, roll by like nightrider. I never have problems getting pulled over in my Integra, I think it depends on where you live and what your mods are.

It's not the car itself that got you pulled over, it's the loud exhaust. I got pulled over a few times and got a modified exhaust ticket when I had loud exhaust. As soon as I got my WS2 it never happened again.

Sorry man, your not making 205 hp with those mods. It takes a lot more work to the internals, valvetrain, and block to squeeze 205 n/a. I would also look into a different exhaust, like and rs*r exmag, es oval, or magnaflow for a quieter tone.

No ******* way man, it is purely inconceivable. Unless you are measuring hp at the flywheel which is still a longshot.

I would agree, your not making 205 whp. Anyway as far as the exaust issue, I would reccomned a twin loop. They sound almost stock at low RPM's just a little throaty, but at WOT it gets a little loud.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by integradude98 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">140hp are you high as hell. The gsr motor comes stock with 170. If the catconverter is taken off you get 180. Sam goes if you get a hi flow. Stainless steel exhausr without the resenater in the middle adds 12 with my magna flow 4 inch round muffler. Then the whole igntion system is not stock. And aem cold air intake adds 10-15 on my car it added 13. So right there is about 205. 140 is stock for an ls.</TD></TR></TABLE>

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA

Go to a dyno, if you put 205, ill paypal you the money it cost to get the test done....If not you owe me your motor. I'll give you my leet 140hp LS

i think you are probably more like 210-215rwhp with that setup bro, don't underestimate yourself.

but to answer your original question....yes, your ricer exhaust will grab the attention of police officials.

hahahahahhahahhahaahhahahha, man if these parts added as much horsepower as you think I would like honda's even more, but instead, you need a reality check buddy. Go dyno then post the results, i guess under 170whp

were talkin about "wheel" hp. gsr have 170hp but only 140 to the wheels. with all your mods id say 165 to 175hp at your wheels.but theirs only one way to find out.

Yea probably &lt;170, You have to remember that honda rates their engines at the flywheel, you lose something liek 15% of your HP getting to the wheels.

Oh and the fact that they tell you youll get 10 extra HP for a exhaust or Intake, doesnt mean that, they want you to buy their stuff.
