I have a y8/b8 mini me in 93 cx hatch (already wired obd 1), motor runs really strong and vtec works fine, but it hits a rev limiter at 6500. It has a stock p28 and everything is wired right, no check engine light. The motor should be easily going up to 7200, cant figure out why its cutting out early. any ideas?

bad tach? mine started doing the same thing (b18b though) after i had a minor off-track excursion.
