Fitting full-race crossmember to CRX 1989?
Hello,
Im fitting a full-race crossmember to my CRX and would like to know whether I have to remove the transmission mount in order to do so?
I have looked at the guide on the full-race website and it states nothing about removing the transmission mount however upon closer inspection it seems you have to. this gives me the impression full-race did their "how to guide" while the engine was out?
If I do have to remove this, will I need to put a jack under the sump to take the pressure off the crossmember whilst removing it?
Your help is most appreciated

yes you have to take out the front tranny mount
it would be advised to put a jack under it so you can get it out and get the bolt through the mount again cuz once you pull it out the engine will drop maybe 1/2 inch

dude only two bolt hold that front mount on the motor and the full race cross member does not have a mount for the front so you aren't goin to use it anyway.........I would recomend a rear poly motor mount otherwise your motor is gonna shake like a bi otch
