Default noob timing belt question ?

sup guys, sorry bout the noob question ...

recently, ive been hearing constant belt noises from the front left side of my 00 si
is this the timing belt ? i have 88k miles on it
or could it be some other belt making this noise ? like an alternator belt ?

im strapped for funds, so im not going to be able to fix this for at least a month
so i was wondering if it was okay to drive like this for a while

it seems the noise is worse in the cold/wet weather
i could be wrong though

take some wd40 spray the drive belts lightly and see if it changes. if it does, you just have glazed belts. or better yet, if you have the know how, take the belts off one by one and see where the noise changes. if the noise stays even with the three belts off, it may be the timing belt.

most likely its either your PS, AC or alternator belt. They are fairly cheap and it good maintenance to replace them now anyway. do those first and see what happens

u said on the left side, is that u standing in fornt of the car or in the drivers seat? the timming belt is on the right side if the car. at 88k u need to change the t-belt anyways. and dont for get to change the water pump as well. save your self some trouble...
