Default Accord won't start

When I turn the ignition it doesn't even try to start. Everything else in my car works.. my power windows, radio, lights... My friend tried to jump start it but it still won't budge. Anyone have any ideas? I think it might have something to do with the alarm.

EDIT: 97 accord / Auto

HEy man i have that same problem, when i turn the ignition all i hear is a click but it wont start, what the problem is on my car is the kill switch from the alarm, what i do i let the car sit for like 10 min or disconnect the battery for 5 min.

It could be many things but the most common is a bad starter.
Try giving the starter a few wacks with a hammer not to hard though and see if it starts. If it does you have a bad starter if not check your fuses.

What wire wasn't plugged in? My car is doing the same thing, I am checking everything before I have to buy another starter for it, which even off ebay is $150+

The a/t starters are dirt cheap but the m/t are 4 times the price, why is that?
