First of all, yes i searched. I am puting a 96 gsr engine in a 96 ls. I know the engine harness on the motor to the plugs on the shock tower are a bit different between the gsr and the ls(vtec wireing). My question is this, is it different from the shock tower to the ecu?

Your car is only Non Vtec. sooo, your gona have to run some wires thru your fire wall to get Vtec. like 4 wires at the most. Vtec selenoid, Vtec pressure switch, and the knock sensor.
