Default Looking for an exhaust... need input

I know there has been a trillion threads about exhaust. But I am really liking the single look. I had the Skunk2 magnaflow on my C5 hatch. I loved the way it sounded. I was wondering what exhaust for my new S2K is similar in sound? Price really isn't an isssue I just want that sound again. Also, if yall know of one please leave a link to a site I can buy it from. TIA

EDIT: its an '03. I also am not worried about power gains and whatnot. Just want a good sounding exhaust.

id have to say a great sounding single exhaust would be the spugen single ti v2. the exhaust tone is deep and sounds like a gsx-r when you get on it. looks are also amazing. it sits angled. look into it, and if you like it, im selling one for $450 picked up in bay area, California, or $500 shipped. exhaust is in near perfect condition.

If you're not worried about power gains and just want a great sounding exhaust, the HKS Hi-Power is very nice. Has a Honda F1-ish scream.

I just re-read your post and you wanted a single. The Hi-Power is a dual but still a great looking and sounding exhaust though.

J's 60 RS, J's 70 RR, or amuse R1 all sound amazing. I would give all three of these a look since price is not an issue. I wouldn't even look at spugen........

Try Bulletproofautomotive.com , Evasivemotorsports.com, or aj-racing.com ....

I know that $$$ is not an issue so expect to pay 12-$1400 for a J's exhaust, and $1900 and up for Amuse...

well I could see spending 1200.00 for exhaust but I don't know about 1,900.

Is the J's racing sound reasonable at normal speeds, then out of control loud at WOT? That is what I am looking for. Thanks again guys for the responses.

Do you have a link or a site to get a good deal for this? I am getting a bonus in a month or so. So it is time to put my big boy hat on and buy my damn exhaust.

EDIT: My bad..... already see someone posted a site. Sorry.

If you liked the skunk2 then you should get the Invidia Exhaust. A lot of people have purchased this exhaust and many people love it. Yet, many people have disliked the fact that it will drone and make your ears bleed. My roommate has it and loves it. You can still get one from Steve@ Evolutionautosports.com for $600 shipped last time I checked. Here is a link to s2ki.com for the sale: http://www.s2ki.com/forums/ind...23423

Ok guys... I found a few exhaust's that I like.. now my other concern is will this void my warrentie? I am just doing a cat back. Has anyone ran into this problem with the dealership? I thought about maybe just keeping the stock exhaust and if something goes wrong put it back on. But if I don't will they give me a hard time with aftermarket exhaust? Sorry for all the questions, but this is my first newer car worth upgrading. TIA
