225/50/15 BFG on 15x6?

im getting a set of 225/50/15 BFG drag radials from my friend for dirt cheap, but i was wondering if i can mount them on 15x6. 225 tires are 8.8 inches wide and width of the rim is only 6 would this work?

the approved rim width range on that size is 6"-8", so you should be fine

it will fit but it wont be good for anything other than drag racing.....it will actually make handling worse without a wider rim
