"Street Stock" 60' foots..
I'm looking to improve my 60' fts. for the upcoming "Street Stock" season and would appreciate some input from fellow "Street Stock" competitors on what they're pulling and various techniques. The best I've mustered thus far was a 2.008 on 225 BFG's with 184whp and 16psi open diff. Please specify size although I'm certain most hasn't used anything larger than 225's. Thanx for sharing.

i was using the 205/50/15 at 10 PSI and dropped the clutch at 5500... My best was a 2.004 60'....
This was in a 2450lb w/driver Integra with stock GSR open diff., and 238 HP (Dynapack)...

My average 60ft last year was 1.95-2.0 running the 225/50/15 BFG at 12.5PSI. I have a full roll cage, 900lbs springs in the rear. I was launching at 3500RPM 50% throttle to get it off the line. It seemed that the little lower RPM and little less throttle that I went the better the 60ft. This year I am going to try some 2nd gear launchs because I should be able to use a higher RPM and more throttle which should benefit the times overall.
I would be satisfied with mid 1.9's. I too have yielded better results launching low (3800-4500rpm) and slipping the clutch while modulating the throttle as opposed to dumping at 6000+rpm. Thanks for the input thus far.
i dont run street stock but ill leave my input at 195whp 6500 launch dumping we run 2.0 60's in our 2700 lbs rsx-s N/A. stock clutch stock axles open diff hoosier 225/50/16 on stock 45 offest rsx rims @ 15 psi. i agree lower launch with slipping seems to be the key this weekend we ran toyo tr1's 235/50/16 on stock 45 offset rsx rims 280 tread wear true street tires @15 psi and ran 2.1 60's

consistent 1.89/1.90s on 205/50 15" BFG Comp TA from 7 years ago. Launch at 5500rpm on the AEM 2step; tranny is b16 gearing with jdm 4.7 final drive, LSD is an ATS clutch type LSD.
B-series motor TQ numbers, nothing close to the big displacement k-series and h-series guys
damn Randy, 1.7's consistently ?

We ran the same diff.
I've ran better 60' fts' in the CRX than the god awful auto Supra. That'll change this season.
