So what are you trading? The Car for the Bike, or the Bike for the car? Its up to you what you wanna do, just think about how much you put into whatever your trading, and try looking at the blue book value and go from there.

I dont think it would be a bad trade, just check out the car first and make sure everything is the way you like it. Its up to you dude, its your bike, and we can only give advice as what to look for. If your tired of your bike then do it, if you still like the bike then give it some thought.

Is he asking for 3000 plus the bike? If so I prolly wouldnt do it, Im sure you could find a better deal.

Also the B18B is good with boost due to its high torque 127 lbs/ft it also has about 142-145 hp I think at the crank. a lot of people get the LS cause its not as expensive as a Type R, it would be better if it was LS/Vtec cause then you would have good HP and good torque numbers but I heard its tuff to do LS/vtec cause theres a lot of work to it. Just something to think about

Eh I doubt it's that high, probably more in the 165 to 170whp range, being that the motor was built properly...

Iono man, I'd probably just sell the bike, and then use that money to buy something a little less modded. I mean if you know the guy, and know for a fact the engine is strong, and won't fall apart on you. Then yeah, go for it. If not you might end up with a civic that doesn't run in a few weeks.

THe only thing that scares me is that you dont know WHAT THE expletive he did to that motor. We know one thing for damn sure and that is that **** was raced on the regular bases. Nitrous, cams, pistons and no carpet and the brakes are worn down. Call me stupid but those are definately ingredients to a race car and how do you even know all this **** is even in the motor?

its possible that the car might've been abused by the previous owner but then again it's hard to tell.

POSSIBLE! No more than likely, the car had nitrous.

Sounds like a good trade. I got a hatch with a LS in it and im boosting it and doing LS v/tec... golden eagle makes a kit for doing it.. but the problem is then u need to find a diffrent computer to run v/tec...... but it seems like a good deal... what i really wonder is how clean is the body???? if it needs just paint thats not to bad but if its all rusted and dented up the car in my opinion is only worth half the price maybe less... body work is expensive and requires lots of time to do it right.. trust me some ******* kicked in the quarter panel on my hatch and its gonna cost me a grand to have a new quarter panel hung and painted... but be carefull there are some shady people out there that will do anything to screw u over...

i say you ask the guy to take it to a friends shop to check out the motor...everything else seems cosmetic...o btw you def dont want to boost that motor....11.7 compression seems pretty high to me...
