My question might be a little confusing but hopefully not. Ok i bought a new JDM gague cluster that reads KM for my US 98 civic ex. What i wanted to know is that if i installed it into my car and started driving, would the milage/kilometer gauge area start reading in kilometers or still read in miles even tho the JDM cluster says KM? Because i have been asking where i could get my JDM clusters miles to match up the old US clusters miles, (and i know i would do the conversion first) but some people tell me that it is pointless because in my US car it would still only read in Miles instead of Kilometers.

I hope this isnt too hard to understand
