alright, just a couple of weeks ago, my friend who drives a 98 prelude ran at the tracks (FOMOSO) and did a 15.5 and then a 15.7 with the Falken Azenis. he then puts back on his Proxes4s'. i don't know, i couldn't go in and see for myself cause we were waiting outside to see if they would let us go in and race... anyways, later on he runs a 15.5 with the Proxes4. now what he was telling me was that he didn't do a burnout on either of the tires. it was my guess that he couldn't get a better time was because he didn't do a burnout to warm up the tires... my point is that i have a pair of Azenis too, and i'm only doin a 15.9 on regular street tires. i'm pretty sure they should at least help to give me a lower time. But my question is, will they help? anyone who's used and have had experience with these "street slicks" please give me any help on whatever... thanks
azenis are sticky track tires. But they might help marginally at the track during the launch. it is all driver skill. if you want better launches, buy some 14 inch rims and some MT slicks
then you can do a few burnouts to warm those up and they will help.
but doing a burnout on azenis, well i hope you have money for new tires every few months.
