what do you think would be better for my 89 dx crx? i can get the ls/vtec for 1000 with type r internals. thats what ill most likely get but i jus wanted to get your opinion.

 

b16 is fun, ls/vtec is nasty, Fine choices either way whatever floats your boat.

Well if you can get an LS/VTEC that is built right for only a 1000 bucks, then I'd go for that. But if that thing is half-assed, forget it. Go for the B16. You do not want to pick up someone's messed up, half done project.
