Crankshaft pulley won't come off.(Bolt is out)
got a 94 gsr with a lightweight crankshaft pulley. I've got the bolt out so the crankshaft pulley should just come out but it doesn't.
It is stuck on thier pretty good. Any tips on how to get it off?
I have tried sticking a screwdrive between the back of the pulley and motor and prying it off to no avail.
Also when I pull on my pulley to remove it it slides maybe and eighth inch, not the pulley either everthing its connected to. Is that normal to have a little side to side play>?
Help me get it off!
Thanks again,

Try rapping on it with a hammer and pry again. It's apparently stuck somehow, so maybe some banging will loosen it. It sounds crude, but it should work. Just don't wail on it with a 10lb. sledge or anything...
I've hit around it with a hammer and it will not pop free. I guess I will go ahead and hit it a little harder.
Any other ideas?
Did I bend something?
Thanks,

Just take a hammer and hit on around the diameter of the pulley. After a couple good wacks at it, if it is still on, maybe drench it in some wd-40. Let it soak for a minute and try it again. If that doesn't work. You can buy a pulley remover at a local hardware store. You might even be able to rent one from a checkers or autozone.
