Default What are the 4 knock-out panels next to the e-brake for?

Looking for some super rare JDM pieces & came across this. Would it fit?

http://store.yahoo.com/yhst-14....html

I believe it would go next to the e-brake handle. Am I right? What are those used for? Im guessing something in Japan it was used for.

Not sure what they are for, but common usage is switch installation.

A recent thread I started about putting switches in them (with links to other switch related threads) :

It says "The purpose of this is to controls Radio Antenna To Raise At Half Mast For High Speeds. " As to where it goes, sorry I wouldn't know. I would guess that it goes by the sunroof switch area found on USDM GSR's.

It looks like it would fit in that location. Never seen one of those buttons before. I have one of those "OEM JDM Fog Light Switches" occupying (sp.?) the 4 knock out panels.

Where can you get a heated mirror set for your car? I see that as actually practical & something I could use. Heated seats would also be nice...

Any way to fab something up? I wish there was a site dedicated to all of this reaaally rare stuff (forums, perhaps products for sale as well, etc.)

Sorry you are mistaken. My 1998 GSR does not have heated seats nor heated mirrors. My buddy's 2000 GS doesn't have them either. I have never seen a Canadian Integra with either of these option.

I am never mistaking.

Trust me, it was an option.
My friend had Heated mirrors/Seats in his Canadian 93 Accord SE.
Also, his father had a Canadian 96 Accord V6 with the same options.

Think im playing here you go...

1998 Integra GS

Seats

Folding Rear Seat
Heated Seats

Beeps whenever you are comming close/in contact with an object thats about to hit your car.
They are featured in the New Touring Odysseys.

The 92-96 Prelude was the first for Honda to carry that.

Lucky if you find the complete wirring harness set...it will be a bitch to install.
Does require drilling quarter size holes in the corners of your bumper for the sensors.

Thats one option i wouldnt wanna do...

They are universal Honda. Basically any cars with the blank spaces around the E-brake.
But most are from the Accord, Corner Sensor is from the Prelude.

Its a small pole that comes up from the end of your bumper.
It has a small "Green" (Accords/Preludes) "Amber" (Integras/Civics) light
that lets you know if you are too close to the curb when parking.
