Default HID HEADLAMPS

I have recently recieved a set of hid HILITE superwhite xenon lamps for my 1997 accord lx. these bulbs are 12v 55w and it is a 9006 with 7000k look. I am asking is it safe to use these bulbs without burning wires. the only thing i am doing is the bulbs not the kit these bulbs are going into the low beam side. your help is appreciated thanks.

It should be since they are 55 watts.

frist thing first, they are not hid, they are not anywhere close to 7000 kelvin, the blub you have is just higher wattage blub.

running a higher wattage blub on oem harness=risk.

some people burn out ten set of bulbs and the harness is still fine, some people got v-dub engine treatment(read:engine fire) on their first set.

should be fine. if you want just go with a HID conversion kit.
