Distributor - DX to SI
Okay, well as most of you all know my ZC rod bearing spun, so for now I am ognna throw my old dx motor back in. But I am running the SI wiring and stuff. So what I was wondering is will my DX dizzy work anyway at all? I read about someone here wiring theres up...
If not, can I gut my ZC distributor and put the internals in my DX and have it work? If that will work thats what I am gonna do.
Thanks for the help in advance.

Find yourself an Si or HF distributor. You can't swap the internals for the same reason that you can't use a DX, neither model has an internal crank angle sensor. No one has ever used a DX dist with an MPFI ECU, that sensor is not in there, so it will not function properly.
