im guessing it might just be on so tight that you think it wont come off. you just twist it off. my buddies **** was on so tight that he had to use a wrench to get it off

yea most **** just twist off.......some other aftermarktet ***** are actually 2 pieces they have a top part and a bottom part. usually what you need to do for them is unscrew the bottom part and then loosen the allen wrench holes. once they are all loose you should be able to pull off.

but the one in the picture looks like you would just screw it off.

some are allen key base with a set screw, look and see if you see any allen key holes, if you do, loosen the set screw. if not its a twist off.

Lefty loosy righty tighty :-P

that doesnt look like a "press-on" where u would just use allen nuts to put it on. if it's a screw-on, it might not be put on right and its already misthreaded inside. and if u wanna get it off, be careful not scratch the **** or snap the billet off, i did both of those before. i ended up havin to buy another **** and shifter haha.

Unscrew the bolt and use a strap wrench that should take it off no problem.
