Stock '91 DX automatic problem.
Ok, first off. To start my car I have to tap the gas, then I have to hold it for say 1 to 3 minutes(depending on how cold it it). When it finally gets going it idles real low. After It warms up it idles at between 700 and 1000 rpm (i assume this is normal idle). But the rpm jumps (not alot, but it still jumps) and I know this happens to alot of people. It doesnt do this when it idles, only if you hold the gas or are driving at low rpms. I need to know the name of the part that causes this(or an easy solution). btw, Ive only had this car for a few months and havent drivin it in warm weather yet. Oh, I know where the part is and when I unplug it, it doesnt make a difference. (someone told me it would idle almost randomly or something)
Also the engine vibrates more than it should, what causes this? Is it the excessive Idleing?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I know that when I am driving on a semi cold engine and I let off the gas at like 40 MPH the idle jumps up a couple of times. Not sure why it does this. But for the engine vibration I would check motor mounts. Does it do it at a stop? Whenever I am in Drive and have my foot on the brake the car shakes like mad and I checked my rear motor mount and it looks shot to hell. Another way to tell is to rev your engine with the hood popped and see how high the motor lifts up. That is what I did.
