Removing DC Interior???
I'm planning on installing an Autopower race/street roll bar and was wondering if its worth removing the interior of the rear half of the car or just punch holes through it so i can mount it?
If anyone has any pics of either a roll bar installed with interior or without it would be much appreciated.

I know its not hard to remove im just thinking about the clean factor. If anyones got pics of a gutted DC interior with roll bar set up i would appreciate it.
Just cant make up my mind.

Do you plan on welding the cage in or bolting it in?
IMO, if you plan on welding it then you could go with either cuting them or removing them cause its highly unlikely that you'll remove the cage. It just depends if you want them interioir pieces in or out. If you do decided to remove them, then you could also sell the panels and get some money back.
If you plan on bolting the cage, then i would just remove the pieces, because if you ever remove the cage you could always put the uncut panels back in.

Im probably going to bolt it in, im just not sure how it would look without panels. I want my car to still look clean thus the reason for possibly leaving them in but just cutting holes for the piping.

thanks for the advice but i got the info i needed. The autopower roll bars are designed to be used with interior panels. If removed there will be an awkward fitment, expesially if you remove your headliner. Thanks
Do you ever drive in a manner that requires a roll bar? If so, then I would say remove the interior, and enjoy a slight weight reduction (that was counter-acted by the roll bar).

I didnt even think about it bein louder without the seats. My custom 3" turbo back exhaust would be rediculous then, looks like im keeping the interior. Thanks for correcting my brain fart.
