Call the honda dealership near you and ask who does the body work for them?

i would just spring for another car... look to spend between 1.5-3 grand for a complete paint job... depending on the shop, whether or not you do some of the prep work, whether or not you want the jams painted, etc. to me, it's not worth it. just my .02

why would i buy a new car? the da9 is a great car, i love them and thats all that matters, everyone has a hatch so theres nothing you can do to them to stand out and ive owned two 93 si's, one turbo and one stock d16, the body of my car is in great shape, just need it another color!

just go maaco. everyone gives them a bad rap. just search for maaco in the forums an look at the cars ppl had painted. for a old car its not worth paying 3 g's for a paint job. go to maaco an do all the bodywork yourself and wetsand it an mask it b4 u bring it in....ive had 2 cars done by them and they come out fine. dont believe other ppls opinions bout maaco....its a decent job for the money.

Maaco at times can have polar feedbacks from people.. some will say their great some will say they suck.

You cant generalize Maaco itself.

Its all about the people working there

I had Maaco paint my 94 civic and it turned out great for $500 . I got it ready and used a coupon then told em to spray extra clear on it . I was happy for what I paid . Maaco is worth it to me just prep it yourself .

i just paid about 1.4k for my paintjob, honestly it CAN be good. It all depends on the people there. The ones that did my car, i don't think they did a great job, decent for the price i paid. 4 year warranty, door jams, clear coat, wetsand, prep-plus, didn't sand it down or anything myself (didn't have enough time). Customer service wise from the maaco i went to.....let's just say they have a temper and foul language will come out. It all depends on the owner of the shop and how they treat their customers.
