Default Engine wiring estimate

So i tried to wire a MineMe Setup to a 88 CRX DX and i just can figure it out.I went and got a P28 ECU,A ECU Jumper from dpfi to mpfi.

So someone who i called showed up today and started to explain how it would be easyer to wire the engine strait to my car and forget about the jumper. He says i need to get a dash harness for a si 88 and a engine harness from a 92-95 SI.Also i went out and got a Ressistor box and did the DPFI to MPFI conversion and did the converison of the fuel injection.

What i did is do the DPFI to MPFI first
Then conected the ecu jumper then started to run the wire for the o2 Sensor.
Then he mentioned something about running a wire to the cluster cause the VTEC wont get activated or something close to that.
I have no clue what im doing with all of this wiring but i felt like i was almost complete just a few minor bugs to fix.
Anyways the guy wants 300 to start the job +$25/h and i trust him but this is all getting verry expensive for something that was suppost to be so easy.He wants to use a P06 ECU but i paid for a p28 Chipped by ecutuning what do u all think i should do ?
Not that i wanna drop the project but im at the point where i just wanna take the minime setup out sell it and all my parts to do the conversion reconvert the car back to stock and just install a 88 CRX SI engine what do u all think would be the best thing to do ?

that guy doesn't know what he is talking about and i mean he knows absolutely nothing - send him away, quickly!!! - P06 ECU is from a DX and won't work with VTEC - sounds like you are on the right track, so go ahead and finish it - what instructions are you using? if you have the DPFI to MPFI conversion done, you are almost there - you have OBD1 to OBD0 jumper from ECU to cabin harness, correct? you just need to wire up the VTEC and O2

well when i got the engine there was no harness only the connectors so the crank angle sensor is not wired yet and theres a few more things not wired and 2 vacume hozes that i have no clue where they do im just so confused right now.
I took a 88 CRX DX i did the DPFI to MPFI conversion before i connected the jumper harness. Then i ran the o2 wires, and the VTEC wires. The guy also mentioned that with that ecu i dont need the ressistor box ?!? I basicly did all the conversions before i even looked at the engine. Is it the ECU that controlls the VTEC or is the cluster ?

If the guy he is talking about is my Friend Tony, He knows what he is talking about problem is CDNDNA screwed up the wiring. Tony has been working on Honda's for 22 years. He's done all types of motor swaps and setups including a 480whp Integra.

The color codes dont match and what would help me out is if i could see someons 92-95 civic to have a look under the hood to find out where all my plugs go thats all.The color codes don't match anywhere. And i dont understand why would i have to change the dash harness and engine harness when i have been following intructions from many diffrent wedsites. Its only my connectors that are all messed up.
