Sup guys, just got finished swapping out a d16zc with a d16a6. got everythign hooked up, turned the key to the acc position and my radiator fan started blowing. it just stays on. i didnt mess with any wiring other than the wires for the distributor. any ideas what could be wrong?

check your thermostat, they get stuck open and close after a while, just replace it, your probably over due anyways.

 

i dont think thats the problem, i had it running for about 10 minutes yesterday, and she heated up just fine, blew hot air and everything.

 

ck the temp switch under the dist. make sure the wires are ok. if they touch the fan will stay on.

 

Check the fan switch...they are designed to fail "on".
A fan thats always blowing is a nuisance. A fan that never comes on is a blown headgasket.

 

got it, had the wires reversed under the IM. thanks for the input though.
