Default just swapped a b18b into civic...starts but runs terrible....????

ok, i t started right away but its running terrible. its idling really rough. i checked my timing and it was at 0 so i advanced it to 16* where it should be however the dizzy wont move that much. i ripped off the valve cover thinking it never put the belt on right but everything is fine. the arrows on the cam gears are pointing at each other when the crank is aligned with the dash on the plastic cover so #1 is at TDC. now im guessin its running on 2 cylinders. is this possible? i might not have run the wires to the dizzy right. does someone have a pic? anyways, looking at the dizzy from the passenger side the bottom left is #1, bottom right is #2, top left is #3 and top right is #4? does this sound correct? can someone please give me some advice.

forgot to mention that i just rebuild the motor, rings, hone and gaskets. its buring alot of oil, its really blue in the garage and obvuilsy smells like oil. im not to worried about this right now as its just burning off the assembly grease. let me know if you have anything to say

sound like you put the plugs on in the wrong order on the distributor. from the bottom left it should be 1 3 4 2

edit: never mind had to re-read the direction you were listing the numbers lol

yes firing order for the gsr is the same. i hooked up the plugs right originally. still no go.

sound like its only running on 2 cylinders. now that my plugs are hooked up right what will cause the motor to run on only cylinder 1 and 2. when i pull 3 and 4 the sound of the motor does not change.

Just wondering, you've checked the plugs lately right?

new plugs. i think i found the problem. timing was out and its hard to actually see how the motor is running when only running of the header. so im going to hook up the stock exhaust system when i should be able to see how it sounds
