Default where to get nipple caps ?

its like a little rubber cap that you put on unused vac nipples. i see people with them, but i can never find them. where the expletive do you get them?

also is it possible to remove the nipples and just replace it with a plug? like in the intake manifold for example, are the nipples screwed in or what? or are they cast in?

i want to either get a nipple to put over this, or remove it completely and put a hex plug in its place or something.

You can get the caps in Autozone, in the area that has the vacuum line bits

I had to replace the port for the brake booster. used mapp gas and channel locks to remove the port. They're pressed in. Just heat, twist, and pull and they come out.

I think it would be look better if you welded the hole shut and grinded it to perfection.
