Default to paint or not to paint

I am about to get a mugen front lip and i am also about to get my car painted. I don't know if i should keep my lip black or to get it painted to match my car. I'm stuck what do you guys think will look better.

I'd defineatly paint it. I put a knock off ebay mugen lip on my 6th gen. It looked ok in black when i was testing the fitment but looks 10X better painted. As long as you don't scratch the hell out of it, i'd paint it. The advantage of black is an easy repaint if you scratch it.

If it were me, I'd paint it to match the body.

There's something to be said about painting the lip a contrasting color from that of the body. Much like this:

I was thinking Black Body, red Skirts / Lip and lower bumper. Removing all chrome emblems (except the "H" Badges) and replace with red vinyl decals.

That came direct from the Xenon Body Kit Listings (it's the one sitting at the body shop for spring's '97 CD7 project). Hey, it's nice, conservative and is no way as radical as say Buddy Club, Black Widow or some of the other %$^# that's out there. I've also got a hood over there and they've installed a pair of NACA scoops. It should be something a little one-off

Here's your rear lip.

Yeh, I understand it's the Hot Color in Hollywierd (Burbank) California as of late.

I'm telling you, my opinion of the Lone Ranger and his side kick Tonto has since gone thru a BIG reassessment.
What's the real translation of "Kemosabbie" anyway??? HUH?
