Default Seat Covers for CRX Si

anybody have some aftermarket seat covers that they have bought and liked?

im just interested in some plain black or grey seat covers. my current crx actually came with some seat covers, so the factory seats is actually in awesome condition. but theyre pretty raggedy now and im looking for some replacement.

ive gone to kragen and gotten their cheap plain seat covers, i didnt like em so i returned it.

im obviously not looking for any flames or blue pinstrip or whatever. i dont even want embroidered "crx vtec" or anything. just nice quality seat covers.

For seat covers i would only recommend sheepskins. I have never put them on a crx, but i have had them on a 95 work van. I bought the van brand new and it was totalled last year. When i went to remove my tools from the vehicle i took the seat covers. Lets just say that the seats were pretty much intact and brand new. They looked so good the insurance company gave me a good price for my van.

Anyways the sheepskins will protect your seats like no other. Only downside is the way they look .They are definitely not for show. But if your interested in keeping your seats fresh buy them. here is a pic couldn't find a black pic but they come in black and charcoal also.

Are those just covers? the kind you just slip over your old seat or are they actuall skins that you would replace your old fabric with?

For those asking, i do not own a set. I simply posted them to answer the question about what is available.

I'm rocking the 1991 JDM CRX Si seats in my rex, they are like new still.

I had what looked to be OEM/optional seat covers. The car when I bought them was left in the sun so of course they turn purple/faded(they were blue and white I believe). They were a thick cloth material that seemed pretty strong and had a Honda emblem on the middle. I'm assuming they were optional because the fitment was perfect.

There are two little clips, one on each post, down below the fabric in the seat. They can be popped off with a screwdriver. they are just below the fabric. Push down on the fabric and feel around with a screwdriver. You will find them.

If those are the "SIR" black on black with double red stitching I'll let you know when they come in. I bought mine just off the goofy picture they have on their website just cause my seat are in just horrid condition I figured I might as well take a chance. Couldn't be any worse than the seat covers I have to use now to keep from getting covered in foam.

Why not find a good upholstery shop and have the fabric duplicated? Maybe spendy though.

It's true the crx came with leather seats, but only in Japan and Europe, "not" the US. The seats looked like a million dollars, but a major downside is that would wear real badly in time. Here's a couple shot of what they looked like in very good condition.
