sup guys i have2 crxs 1 dx 1 hf both have valve issues i set them both becuase the valves sounded loose .Now on the dx im swaping with a b18 so im not worried about that but my hf has the 1.6 sohc and i wanna kepp it but the valves keep getting loose any answers to this problem its pissing me off evertime i get them tight they get loose in a few days !!! anyone else have this problem??

 

How can you tell if your valves are loose?

 

the rocker arms make a lot of noise.. make sure you're torquing those bolts to spec.. that could cause them to come loose

yeah like he said. make sure you are torquing them down to specs. And make sure to double check the lash after you complete the adjustment just to make sure everything is in spec. Then go around and make sure everything is torqued a second time just because it's always good to double check!
