H22 swap
I have been searching with no luck so I will make a post...I have a h22a4 from a 99 sh, I was wondering what I would need to do to put that motor into a 90 Accord. Someone told me that I should just get the base tranny. I really need help...Thank you.
Well, your engine code brings to mind this article on swapping H22's into 4th & 5th gen Accords, wherein it states:
The only H22 to avoid is from the Type SH Prelude. The brilliant torque distribution system (an electronically controlled box of clutches bolted to the block that Honda calls ATTS) replaces the intermediate shaft and its mounting bracket. The engine and transmission code to avoid is H22A4 and M2U4, respectively. Again, when someone actually swaps this in functionally, let us know.
Of course, there may be a way around this, though I haven't heard of anything.
You should probably search this site regarding H22 swaps, since there is plenty of info available. Try starting here, in the Hybrid forum.

Just get a JDM LSD Tranny(M2B4). You can get a base model one though its cheaper and should be easier to find. Sell the ATTS Tranny to someone else. Other than that the motor should be drop in. You will have to convert to OBD1 since its a 99 or you can convert to OBDII your choice (prefer obdI). You will also have to wire up a couple wires and the stock wiring harness is useable.
assuming you are speaking of 5spd. you can also use a chipped p72. it has the same capabilites as the p13. the p28 if you go hondata,neptune...etc is the most popular and most common ecu's to get. the p72 is harder and more expensive. just try to get a usdm one. i have a jdm p72 and i can't run the newest version of hondata, the s300. i have to go with the s200 or neputune. these are the only two i (me pesonally) will go with.

Yes, but you will need an intermediate shaft, as mentioned. You will also need to slightly modify the bearing carrier of the intermediate shaft and fab an adaptor plate, which is just a drilled 1/4 inch plate.
