Default Question about 88 tranny and Y8 swap...

I know that 89 and up DX and Si trannies will fit but what trannies overall will fit a D16y8?

I remember hearing that the 88 trannies have different splines on the shaft, is that true? IF so what's the difference?

The tranny will bolt on, you just need to make sure you use an 88-89 flywheel with an 88 clutch.

or go with the 90-91 flywheel (212 mm) and pressure plate , and with 89 accord clutch disc (212mm with 21 splines). it may sound weird but i did a little research on http://www.advancedclutch.com .Oh and i have this setup with my 88 si tranny and d16y8 , good luck.
