New CRX owner -- Needs troubleshooting help..steering?
I'm a new owner of a 91 CRX Si (Tahitian Green Pearl), 144,XXX miles. For the most part the car is fine when cruising at freeway speeds around 60-65 mph, but when I take it up to 75-80 mph the steering get a little squirrelly. It feels like the car overcorrects with the slightest turn of the steering wheel at high speeds. What do you think could be the problem?
I like the fact that I'm saving gas by driving 60-65 mph, but I like to stretch my legs once in a while.

I guess I should add that the car is all stock. No modifications have been done, but I did have to change the cat to pass smog.
Well it could be a few things yes the car has age your rack might be wearing out.
Your tires cold also be a part of what it's doing. Also there is the hard fact its a tiny light front wheel drive car with a fairly quick steering rack not a corvette no offence meant its just these cars arn't gluing to the road at higher speeds.

Tires are new and have a good amount of tread left on them. No offense taken. Just want to get a little advice from the experts.
