First off let me say that I know this may not be directly ITR related, but I've tried every other forum and I can't seem to get this damn thing fixed. Ok, I bought a JDM ITR throttle body not too long ago to go on my turbo Y8 motor. It has an Edelbrock intake manifold and runs perfect with the stock throttle body. When I swapped the ITR throttle body on though it wants to idle right at 2000rpm. I checked for air leaks all around where the throttle body meets the IM and there aren't any. If you put your hand over the throttle body opening it wants to stall out like it should, and if I put my finger over the opening inside it for the IACV it wants to idle like it stock (like it should). No place around here has an ITR throttle body gasket, so I am using one for a GSR. I also tried my Y8 throttle body gasket but to no avail. I have swapped the TPS and played with the idle screw and niether of those worked.
I am at the end of my wits here and don't know what to do. You guys seem extremely knowledgeable about all things ITR so I come to you asking for some advice. Thanks.

maybe the throttle plate is open a tad? there's a throttle plate adjuster screw with an allen head that adjusts the plate open/closed
to set it, pull it off the car, open it and let it snap shut, look at a light through it, make sure it's sealed, if you can see light, then adjust it closed as much as you can until it sticks when you let it snap shut, then unadjust it a tad until it stops getting caught.
also make sure you don't have the wrong plug in the IACV

This actually worked. It hadn't been adjusted before, but I did this just a minute ago and it lowered the idle considerably. Thats funny that no one else had mentioned it before and I actually fixed it just before reading this. Thanks though man.
