I have rebuilt my 91 Accord Wagon and it runs great most of the time, but the last time I drove it it blew a ECU fuse in the fuse box. I replaced it and it started, ran then blew it again. I tryed a slightly larger one and it ran longer then I hard wired it to get it home. can anyone tell me the resistor or volgate limiting diode or what ever I am searching for? I have looked on the ECU and the Automatic transmission control module and don't find anything unsettling. My previuos troubles with my honda were the gasket between my intake manifold causing many of the problems with over heating, I replaced the headgasket and rebuilt the engine. I too have had the transmission problem with the BLINKING S and my tranny shop replaced the ATC because I was too busy to deal with it at the Time. My solution to that problem is pull over, shut car off, wait two minutes and drive on down the road because the real solution is new parts in the Tranny and I can't afford them. About the Temp sensor, Listen to them, Because an old temp sensor will harden the rubber around the sensor and stay open aprox. 1/8 of the way. Then everyting works till it gets hot and your going up a hill or reving high and boom your old rusty on the inside metal 5 layer headgasket will crack and you to will be rebuilding an engine if your not too late already. The other symptom I have someone else had and they offered replace the EGR valve as a solution. tried that, next? it seams as though the temp sensor has something to do with it too but may be something entirely different. ANy help is appriciated. I will lend my solutions to probs if you have any I can Help with but they will come mostly in actual Chip help at component level if you find Diagragms for me.
