Its a B16A2 which is a USDM Civic Si Motor from the 99-00 EM1's.
It has AEM CAI, Kenji Chipped ECU. I will be keeping the 2.25" exhaust. The valve cover studs and gaskets were replaced.

Needs a new head gasket, oil pan and gasket, Transmission and maybe a clutch. I can get a GSR Cable transmission for $600. May need a new clutch also. I can get stock clutches at wholesale cost.

I have a gasket kit which comes with a ton of gaskets. It has the head gasket, oil pan, valve stems, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, and a bunch more.

The engine is a little dirty from oil leaks. Thats why I bought the gasket kit. Engine needs the timing set correctly.

I have a NRG Silver engine dampner I'll throw in. Im waiting on the polyurthane inserts from JDMCarboy. I have all the hardware for it and the rubber inserts, which are more soft.

Thats all I can think of as of now. Im sure thats all.

 

why is a 99-00 engine in such bad shape? how many miles?

 

No clue how many miles it has. I bought my hatch with it. All the mountain driving I have done took its toll on the engine.
