Default Re: 05 HONDA ACCORD (1988noob)

first step, if you're tight on money look on ebay for a cheap cold air intake, hell you can even make those things on ebay. If not, look into AEM or Injen Cold Air Intakes, will cost you around $250 shipped/installed or 50 dollars less than that if you install it yourself (which isn't overly hard if you're semi-mechanically inclined).

I don't know how in the world you missed this topic, and I know there was another one before it that compared Ebay intakes vs the AEM one.

Also look on the top of this page for a sticky thread on accord aftermarket parts.

Depends what you want, unfortunately, there is a lacking in aftermarket parts for our generation of car (and when I say generation I mean accords from 03-05 that have the same body style). Also, unless some have been released lately, exhaust kits aren't made for sedans yet, so you can get a custom pipe job at your local muffler shop for 300 bucks, plus buy a nice muff for 125 bucks and you're set.

Hope this helps
