will be on this guy:

I've got the e-brake cables and i hope to get new brembo slotted blanks for the front and replacement brembos for the rears, accompanied by the DA master cylinder, brake booster and prop valve, and stainless braided lines. just thought I'd let you see how it's coming along so far. thanks for looking and give me a bump if you feel the need.

I just put the DA master cylinder and brake booster on my REX with just SI brakes and I swear it is the greatest thing done to the car. I need calipers and I'll be able to put my DA fronts on.

actually no you can't. I tried taking that thing out when I was literally ripping the car apart, and it would come out. it's like seized up or something, but even so, I don't see it being a problem once I actually have the time adn the money to swap everything over.

And M15, define "greatest thing ever done". I know they'll feel awesome, but how much stiffer is the pedal feel and so forth?

you got the proportioning valve to go with it?

you dont "need" it but it'll be a better pedal feel...

yeah, I made sure to get it when I was getting everything else off. You probaby just didn't see it in the earlier post, that's cool though. thanks for all the replies. I can't wait to see how much this improves my ability to stop, and continue to do so without much fade once I start experimenting with other pads.

I've also got a set of prothane suspension bushings to put on if I ever get the time and the guts to take it all apart and have everything replaced. It's one of those things that makes you question doing all the work on the car by yourself, or paying someone. oh well, we'll see.....

Well it was the greatest thing in the world because my old Booster didn't work at all and not only was it hurting my braking but it made it gave me a great idle surge , all the time I replaced so many gaskets for nothing.

with that thread title this should say you have:

- a carbon fiber mold for jdm bumpers, side and rear skirts, or rain guards
- a conversion adapter for slower s2000 speed sensor clusters to adapt them to b-series
- seen spy shots of a 07-08 crx
- have aftermarket black jdm headlight assemblies w/ built one piece corners for SiR frontend

then itd be great news for EFers.

congrats on the brakes.

well, I will probably just be using the DA emergency brake cable that I pulled off teh car with the trailing arms and rear brakes. If it is too long I will cut it with something, or it if it is too small I guess Ill buy another one. I think it will be okay though.

Thanks man, and sorry my title let you down. haha.

That gives me an idea of what is making my idle go up and down. I have replaced both my FTP and the IACV on my intake manifold and that hasn't done a dang thing. So that very well could be part of the issue.

Anyone know how much one of those gaskets that goes inbetween the firewall and brake booster costs?

The brembo rotors look really nice I just got done with my DA brake install and I'm going to be doing a large write up only because I had some many stupid problems arise. Only thing I would suggest is making sure your ball joints ar ein good condition before you start.

I just installed my DA brakes last weekend. I think my 4040 prop valve is leaking a bit

I was totally surprised at how easy the whole swap was, the biggest pain in the *** was installing the prop valve and trying to get around the damn AC hardlines. I'm bitter about that. lol

I didn't do the master cylinder or brake booster though, that will be in the near future though.

Good luck with the swap, DA brakes work so much better than my stock STD brakes did, that's fo sho.
