Default Should be so easy. But its not !

Have stripped all the trim out of my 91 crx apart from dash (which can wait) but can seem to get the rear view mirror off. The manual says to use a flat blade screwdriver but it wont come off for all the levering in the world

Please help me !

if you use a torch and heat up the outside of the window it will come right off.. go to your local glass shop and have them do it though cuz if you havent practiced it a couple of time you will crack your windshield...

i doubt they will charge you anything if they wanna be dicks and charge you it wont be more than 5-10 bucks

slip the flathead into the plastic cap....

should be 3 phillips head screws under that.

(are you trying to PRY the whole thing out of your roof with the screwdriver???)

right behind the red seatbelt lights it comes apart you should be able to see the little split than there are the 3 philips screws behind it

those cover get broken alot...so if you get frustrated... order a new cover..

and then yank at the rear view mirror...

they are designed to come apart in the event your head fly's at it in an accident..

the mirror section will seperate from #10 in the diagram which will still be stuck to the car, then use a phillips to remove..
