Default whats the best tranny???

im in the process of rebuilding my boosted b16. i wana do a tranny upgrade and im wonderin what would be the best one

The simple answer would be, the tranny that makes the best use of your powerband for your application (and one that won't break).

i prefer LS tranny because of the long gears, and its good for commuting

From what I understand, because of the typical horsepower curve of the b16, with most of its power made at very high rpm, you would do best to get a transmission with closely matched gears so when you shift your rpm doesnt drop out of the powerband. The b16 already has one of the most closely matched gear ratio sets of all the b series transmission, so unless you get a jdm itr transmission, or custom build a frankenstein transmission youre going to be hard pressed to find something that suits your HP and torque curves better
