did anybody do to the hot import nights in san deigo on jan 26 2002? i went to the seattle show last year (import revolution) and it was pretty cool. but i also got in free. it's $25 this year and i'm just wondering if it's worth it? anything really new to see this year? or is it all pretty much the same old stuff?

 

I'll be there cause it'll be fun. $25 isn't gonna break the bank, but it does seem a little pricey imo...whatever, it depends on why you want to go and its a decision that only you can make. I say just do it (nike don't sue me, I buy all your overpriced, sweatshopped products)

 

It's too much for me. I'm so over HIN. Everytime I go, there is crap for cars. That's 25 bucks that you could have spent at the track or something.

Not worth it. If you can get in for free,then I say go, if not, stay at home.

 

it will be fun, but think of last year. you saw a civic w/ a gsr in blue...two minutes later another civic w/ a grs turbo in green...five minutes later another civic w/ an ls turbo in orange. it was cool last year, but i got tired of seeing the same mods on ever car just with a different color of paint. thats why i'm wondering if anything new and spectacular was at the first show this year. yeah, $25 isn't breakin' the bank, but i don't want to see all the same exact cars as last year either.

Save your $$$, I entered my car in the SD one and it sucked ***: 1.) 90% the cars sucked (unless you like all that "conversion" and F&F stuff), 2.) too many ***** trying to sit in your car/touch your car/sit on your hood to take a pic w/some import **** and 3 of her friends, and 3.) It's PROBABLY gonna be most of the same ole cars/girls you've seen elsewhere! Just my opinion!

the best part was rolling in my friends 86 accord and then i slammed my seat back bumped his 5 inch componets and thought i was dope yO!!

 

I went to the one in Atlantic City last year...Its ******* great...The hole town was wild. I cant wait till June 15th. I am not entering my car but I am definatly going there. The cars are ok but the atmosphere is ****** fantastic!!!

 

i went to the hin in jan.. it was ****** pathetic.. they had a nice skyline 34 that we saw on the road there.. and a dope supercharged sentra se-r spec-v.. but other than that.. it was like a wanna be rave.. bullshit music.. all the gay lights.. the *** smoke machines.. and there were too many damn people they shoulda had it out doors ors omething.. if you wanna look at cars.. this is not the place to be.. all it is is pretty ugly cars with fat bitches stripping and over crowded ness.. i went to the irvine hidaze which was better.. but yeah its not worth it..

 

I am going to HIN in Atlantic City again this year but I'll probably check out the show for about an hour and then I'm splitting to go gamble, drink, and get in some trouble. I would not go to another HIN unless it's in Atlantic City.......that place is the devil's playground!!

 

thanks for the feed back. i've decided not to waste the money. i think i'll save it for the track. but now of my buddy that i brought into the import world wants to go. now his sister wants to go and one more of his friends wants to go. so i told him to pay my way and i'll go. he agreed. otherwise they'ed all be kind of lost...being new to the sport. i just now remembered seeing nicer cars in the parking lot last year, than some of the car inside.

but seriously, there'll be some clean cars. watch out for jonas and kjeg94 (they're members of this board), they're gonna be parked next to me. and why wouldn't you wanna go see aj-racing's crew and stage five's cars?

and mocha's hatch....GOOD LORD. you'll know it when you see it.

 

My personal suggestion is only go to the biggest car show around once every six months, because if you start going to them all them time, you'll get burned out hard of all the same **** over and over.

 

its fun to walk around and see what intresting things the show guys have though of this year.......its an awesome time

 

its fun the first time you go...but other than that...it gets boring....but im on the east coat...prolly sucks compared to west coast...
