Default Rear motor mount insert install clarification

so i've had the front to lower ones in for probably a year, just never got around to the rear. i've spent the good part of an hour and a half reading different threads around HT for other cars just not my civic(99 SI). please correct me if these steps are wrong or i leave anything out.

edit: to clarify these are for Energy Suspension Inserts.

1. i don't need the front mounts loosened or out?
2. place a jack(with optional wooden piece) on tranny or engine to hold up engine.
3. seems like removing the intake would make things easier. intake mani. looks to be just a hassle and not worth removing.
4. undo the 17mm bolt.
5. undo the 14mm bolts?
6. remove the mount bracket
7. lift the engine(maybe by jacking it up some?) to remove the MM. to do so the MM needs to be angled away from a heater control valve(?) above it(from what i read on the integra threads)?
8. slide inserts into mount and put back into position.
9. reverse to reinstall

so.. ? ? left anything out?

i removed the bracket for the motor mount on the rear of the motor, installed the inserts, and then re-installed the bracket.

either way, its a pain to get to just b/c of its location. if you can think mechanically, and how stuff works, you can figure it out easily. it will just take a little time. and a beer or two, legally of course.

it's a bitch to get to, but it'll be a lot easier if you take the whole bracket and mount out.

i'm working on replacing my rear mount as we speak. It's a 94 civic hatch with a GSR motor in it. Biggest pain in the ***. Glad i dont need the car to drive cause it's taking a while. I didnt have to pull the intake, but i did pull the throttle body and like 10 coolant lines.

You shouldnt need to remove the rear motor mount just to slip the ES plugs into the side of the mount. Just get the bracket out of the way so you can slip the plug in. Removing the mount =

So, can I install the inserts without removing the mount from the car? just remove the bracket and put the inserts in, and then put it back on?

Also, if I were to use a "filler" for the rear mount, could I just take off the bracket, use the filler, let it cure, and put the rear bracket back on?
