Default Where to buy Tires? What tires to go with?

After doing my weekly Bike inspection, I found a nail sticking out of my back tire. This really sucks, since the tire only has 890 miles on. But, I figure I am going to have to replace it. What is a good site to buy it from? What brand?

I have heard good things about the Pilot Powers and Diablos. Any others?

Thanks.

The new Dunlop Qualifiers have received some good feedback (some friends of mine have tried them). I believe Metzeler is also releasing their new Sportec M3 tire.

I've always purchased my tires from Terra Powersports. http://www.terra-powersports.com

try patching up your tire, it might not be that bad. my friend had a nail in his tire in the first 500 miles and he just patched it up. pressure has been consistant. itll cost a lot cheaper than buying a new tire or set of tires.

Can I just take it to my local bike shop to see if they can patch it up?

They might be able to plug it.

I know Terra is a sponsor to some which is cool but I always get my tires from here http://www.buymoto.com $128 for a Pilot Power rear 180/55/17 and $99 for the front, you just can't beat those prices. Plus they are local to me and I get cheap mounting and balancing.

The battlax lineup has 4 different setups.
BT02, BT012, BT014, BT015

I assume your talking about the BT014, those seem to be pretty popular, I ran those on my bike and I liked them.
