D16Y8 Intake Manifold mated to D16Z6???

Default D16Y8 Intake Manifold mated to D16Z6???

in a 1995 civic Si coupe.

is there a way to make this manifold fit the head? anyone have a link to a writeup?

yes, it's a direct swap.

use a gsr TB (or bigger), y8 manifold, some sort of hondata like IM gasket and be happy.

get an exhaust, and chip your ecu and you'll see a nice lil bump in hp/tq/revs.

is actually posted for a friend, thanks for the input though heh.

he's already got jdm obd1 pr3 chipped running crome, I/H/E, a b16a TB (only slightly larger than the y8 tb i think, or was it an LS tb, either way it's a bit bigger but bolts right up).

he says there is something missing on the y8 mani compared to the z6 mani, which is why he asked, also the ports are square rather than round or something.

yes you can put a y8 intake mani on a z6, you will get a little more power since its biggger and its a direct bolt on
