lowering
You need springs in the first place to even lower the car 1.5 inches, the basic guide to accords can tell you everything u need to lower your car.

You'll need a front camber kit unless you want to replace tires OFTEN. It's well worth the cost. Trust me - my accord was lowered 1.5 in 96 before the camber kits were available. It was aligned but still ate tires on the front. Since I put in the kit, tire wear is "same as stock."
dawg, for 1.5 inches you wont need a camber kit. My car is dropped by that much and the camber is fine. You dont really need new struts either. even if the stock struts start to sag a little after a year or so, its not that big a deal. just pop the springs in and enjoy!
To drop your car, you need lowering springs. 1.5 - 1.75 is the max you can go without needing a camber correction kit. If you want you can put in new stiffer struts and shocks (struts are shocks that belong in the front), to make up for the extra stress of shorter springs that are put on the stock struts and shocks, but its not necessary, like I said I have my car dropped by that much and my tires are fine. I have H&R Sport Springs that i got used off of Ebay for $90.00 dollars shipped. Retail is about 230 - 330. You have the springs installed and the car is dropped. It is recommended that you do an alignment because by replacing the springs youre messing with the correct alignment, camber, and toe that is assumed your car already has.
