i have a 99 gsr swap in a 99 civic si...it has crower stage 2 cams.. springs,retainers, bigger fuel rail and 270cc rc injectors, skunk manifold, and headers...i am running this on a p28 ericks engineering ecu that has been chipped for it but has not been dyno tuned...when i floor it in first gear it seems as though i am drowning the motor right before vtec hits at 5500 rpm and it lags all the way till vtec but then pulls nasty after vtec hits....can someone tell me if its the computer or somthing else, cuz when i put the stock obd2 computer in it runs smooth but does not pull as hard at all?? do i need a custom ecu or somthing like that???
