Koni yellows/ Skunkwork coilovers
my old set up is up for sale...
sorry i do not want to part...boxed and ready to ship!
for eg/dc2
this set up has been on my car for well over 3 years and the shocks could probably use a rebuild. there was nothing wrong with it when i took it out, i just threw some D2s in instead because i got a good deal on it.
this set up is a bit on the stiff side.. i have daily driven my car with it for 3 years and got use to it. not bouncy at all. ideal for track/autocross use...
the coilovers are not even skunk2's...they are the original skunkwork ones.
the only problem is that (with all skunks) the sleeve is very soft metal and the ends mushroomed out. the bottom perch on some of them is stuck where it mushroomed so it wont lock itself. however the top perch holding the spring up will not move... i have not had a problem with this for over 3 years..
the konis are scratched and one of the rear ones have the bolt that was welded onto it broke off.. i have been running it with just a loose nut that i will include with the set up...this is a 14mm nut. (this is how most aftermarket struts are anyways)... other than that no major problems...
mileage is unknown i've lost count over the years and putting in a jdm cluster in km doesnt help either
this is your chance to pick up a set up for very cheap... either for rebuild or even straight put it on the car
here are a couple pics of it and of it on my car with the exact height settings that it is at right now... there is another 1 inch that it can still be lowered
