Default 99 civic hood

The holes where the screws go in on my hood is strip. Its on one side only but both holes were strip. I took it off to do my swap and when I put it back on, it wouldn't tighten anymore. Anyone know if there's any kind of tools that could fix it or if auto part stores have any type of product to fix it? I have a carbon fiber hood and don't want to waste the money I bought it for.

i dont know how carbon fiber hoods accept a metal bolt, but my only guess would be that they have a metal plate fused with the carbon fiber which the bolt screws into. If this is true you might want to drill out the remaining crappy threads and tap new bigger threads. You would then need a bigger bolt. That's what i would do to save the hood.
