I have a 2004 Accord with navigation. I need to get the serial number for my radio with out removing it. Apparently there is a way to do it, and no, I don't have a manual to look it up. If you can help, please do!

 

Most times you can go to the dealer with your title in hand and proof of identification and they can use the VIN number to let you know what the unlock code is.

 

Do a search. There was a post on this forum where about how to get the serial # to display on the screen. Something about pushing and holding the #1 and #6 buttons on the radio. My memory bank is not clear on this, so do a search. There are also a couple of guys on the forum who can get you the code, if you give them the serial #. Good luck.

PS: Ordered that manual yet? You will need it again, sooner or later.
