alt belt keeps ripping off

alt belt keeps ripping off
i just swapped a 92 ls motor in my 91 dx hatch and every time i drive it the belt just keeps getting wron down more and more than eventually it just rips with ina day or 2 any suggestions

gotta be either too tight, or you are using the wrong belt, alternator, or bracket. are you using the alternator that was on your D15B?
