The a6 has a dual runner intake manifold, a better exhaust manifold, and slightly more aggressive tuning.

I saw a thread about this once, but I can't find it. I think the a6 and a4 have the same exhaust manifolds. They all have the same cam. The a6 has a better ecu and intake manifold.
